- 8 oz whole grain pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole grain pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and torn basil leaves.
- Dress the Salad:
